Training Services Terms and Conditions
Certification, Competency, and Issuance of Credentials

Participant acknowledges and agrees that issuance of any certification card, certificate of completion, credential, or other proof of successful course completion is expressly dependent upon the participant’s satisfactory completion of all course requirements, as determined solely at the discretion of the Instructor and/or certifying organization.
Participant understands and agrees that failure to meet requirements will result in the participant being deemed ineligible to receive certification.
No certification will be issued unless and until all course requirements have been met in full.

Remediation and Retesting

In the event a participant does not initially meet the required passing standards, reasonable remediation and/or retesting opportunities may be offered, in accordance with the certifying agency’s requirements and allowances. The availability, scope, and timing of such remediation or retesting shall be determined solely at the discretion of the Instructor and/or certifying organization. Additional fees may apply for remediation sessions or retesting, as applicable.

Fees and Refunds

Participant understands and agrees that all course fees, tuition, deposits, and materials costs are non-refundable and non-transferable once the course has been purchased, including in any instance where the participant does not pass, does not complete, or is not issued certification for failure to meet requirements. Payment of course fees is for instruction and evaluation only and does not guarantee certification.

Liability and Indemnity

Participant understands that CPR and first aid training may involve physical activity, including demonstrations and hands-on practice, which carry a minimal risk of injury. By enrolling in this course, Participant agrees to take part voluntarily and assumes all responsibility for their own safety and participation.
Participant agrees to release and hold harmless the Instructor, the training organization, and any affiliated venues or partners from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the course, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Participant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Instructor and training organization against any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from their own actions, omissions, or misuse of skills after course completion.

Conduct and Safety

Participant agrees to maintain respectful and appropriate conduct throughout the duration of the course. Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior — including but not limited to harassment, intoxication, refusal to follow instructions, or interference with course activities — will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class without refund.
Participant further agrees to follow all verbal and written safety instructions provided by the Instructor, including proper handling of training equipment, mannequins, and barrier devices. Due to the physical nature of CPR and first aid practice, Participants are encouraged to communicate any physical limitations, medical conditions, or concerns before participation so reasonable accommodations can be made when possible.
The Instructor reserves the right to pause or terminate participation for any individual whose behavior or condition is deemed unsafe to themselves or others.
